October 17, 2024 - The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) onsite Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), Dr. Eden Callo, a CHED RQAT member, and Dr. Corazon M. Flores, a CHED Education Supervisor II, visited the Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas (CLB) to evaluate the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program.
The program started featuring a welcome folk dance from the CLB Culture and Arts members, and Ms. Marilou Custodio, the Master of Ceremonies, taking the podium. The opening remarks was delivered by Dr. Lorna L. Gappi, who emphasized the importance of the visit and taking it as an opportunity for CLB to further grow.
Dr. Flores then outlined the objectives of the visit, commending CLB’s facilities and the discipline of its students, which she attributed to the dedication of the faculty. Dr. Retchie M. Guico, Dean of the College of Education, presented on the BEED program's offerings, including its resources and services. The visitors provided their feedback in response to Dr. Guico’s presentation.
For the closing remarks, Dr. Dolores D. Borras expressed her appreciation for the visit and reiterated CLB's commitment to continuous improvement. The event concluded with a photo opportunity, symbolizing the partnership between CLB and CHED in upholding educational standards.
