Batangas City, September 4, 2023 – Freshmen parents gathered at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum yesterday afternoon for an insightful seminar titled "PARENTING GEN Z: Challenges into Positive Changes." Organized by the Guidance and Counseling Office, the event featured a distinguished speaker and expert in the field of guidance and counseling. The event commenced with a warm and inspirational message from Mr. Andrew Brian B. Deguito, the Vice President for Administration and Finance. His words of encouragement set the tone for an enlightening afternoon.
Mr. Christian Rey Sumanga, the President of the Student Executive Council, took the stage to introduce the keynote speaker, Dr. Hannah Ericka M. Andal, RGC, a Guidance Counselor from the University of Batangas. Dr. Andal presented an engaging session on effective parenting strategies for the challenges posed by Generation Z, offering valuable insights and practical advice.
Following Dr. Andal's presentation, an open forum allowed parents to ask questions and engage in a meaningful discussion on the topic. This interactive segment fostered a sense of community and shared learning.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of a certificate to Dr. Hannah Ericka M. Andal in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the seminar. Her expertise and dedication to the field of guidance and counseling were widely acknowledged and appreciated by the attendees.
