A historic feat was achieved again as the Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas (CLB) Mustangs triumphed at the Batangas Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (BUSCAA) for Season 26, held at St. Bridget College, with multiple victories across various sports on October 18.
Leading the charge with Basketball Mustangs, galloping the championship title with a final score of 89-79, recording a triple successive victories.
Individual athletes also contributed significantly to the Mustangs' overall success.
On Chess Board 3, Leana Christine R. Casao earned a silver medal in the Women's category. Mark Jayson D. Romero secured a bronze medal in Men's Chess, adding valuable points to the team's total.
Althea F. Semilla did not stop the streak as well with a bronze medal in Table Tennis, smashing the game with her skill in Singles B Women's Category. The combo of Clarisse F. Mendoza and Vanessa C. Dagus also secured a bronze medal for Women's Doubles.
Denmarc A. Ramos and Kirby Balinton earned a bronze medal in Men's Badminton doubles, showcasing their incredible tactics on the court, summing up the wins made by Mustangs this year.
With the torch of this league flame out, the CLB community rejoiced in the achievements made by its athletes, coaches, and supporters for this season.
