In a world where borders are fading, one thing is clear: globalization is something we can no longer deflect, especially in the domain of education, where we aim to produce not only excellent, benevolent, and disciplined citizens but also warriors who are ready to explore the world with competence and global awareness.
This time, Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas is finally opening its gates to welcome internationalization, in accordance with the Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Order No. 55, series of 2016, allowing CLB students to explore what the world can present beyond borders.
As part of the initiative to promote internationalization within the campus, Project Lakbay: Learning Activity Through Knowledge-Based Appreciation for Youth and the Buwan ng Wika celebration, held alongside ASEAN 2025, were organized. These activities allowed CLBians to delve into a vast world of cultures, far beyond what they commonly encounter.
Additionally, it is not just the students of CLB who have embraced this wave of new beginnings, as the faculty and board members participated in Edu-Trends Global 2025, a program held at Shinawatra University in Thailand, where Ms. Charity Maaño, a faculty member, and Dr. Grace Andal, the Program Chairperson of BTLED, won second place in the Best Oral Presenter Award, while Dr. Retchie Guico, Dean of the College of Education, secured third place in the same category.
Slowly but steadily, more ways of integrating internationalization are emerging like sparks of hope—and CLB is here to witness each new opportunity unfold.
Ready to pounce, ready to pursue greatness!
This sparks the true spirit of Batangueños—disciplined, determined, and ever ready to move forward, armed not only with minds but with hearts and souls united.
Together as one.
Together globally, towards a brighter and more interconnected world.
