Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-CLB Chapter bagged top awards after competing in the 27th JPIA General Assembly of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (Region IV Council) with the theme “PARAISO: Sailing Towards What Lies Beyond,” held at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta–Molino Campus, Bacoor City, Cavite, January 18.
Angel Fatal (BSA I-1) emerged as Champion in the Digital Poster competition. At the same time, Baby Jane Candelaria (BSA III-1) and Antonette Arrocena (BSA II-1) secured First Place in the Battle of Executive and Spoken Word Poetry, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the Quiz Bee Competitions, Nina Songco (BSA III-1) qualified as a Finalist in the Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions (RFBT) Quiz Bee, and Aira Lachama (BSA II-1) advanced as a Finalist in the Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting (AFAR) Quiz Bees.
The NFJPIA-R4 Council’s General Assembly is the biggest annual gathering of accounting students in Region IV, serving as a platform for collaboration, stronger connections, and professional growth among JPIAns as future accounting professionals.
Through their strong performance, the CLB delegates showcased their competence and commitment, reflecting the institution’s continued participation in activities that promote excellence, leadership, and professional development among future accountants.
Furthermore, Elisha Abarquez (BSA I-1), Ashley Bisco (BSA II-1), Carl Calanza (BSA II-1), Melvin Ebora (BSA III-1), Cheska Verame (BSA I-1), Ella Villano (BSA III-1), together with Mr. Reydel Panopio, BSA instructor, also participated in the said event.
