CLB participates in the 8th Luminary International Conference in Malaysia

Advancing its internationalization initiatives, Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas participated in the 8th Luminary International Conference themed "Global Innovation in Sustainable Earth Through Research," held at the Sungai Long Campus of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February 3–5.

Dr. Anabelle B. Perez represented the institution as research presenter with her study titled, "The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intentions of a Local College in Batangas City."

"Participating in an international conference is important for CLB because it enhances the institution's academic reputation, strengthens global visibility, and supports internationalization efforts," she shared.

She also added, "For my research, it opens opportunities for collaboration and allows me to stay updated with global trends that I can integrate into my teaching."

Members of the management committee also served as moderators during the conference, including Dr. Mary Ann E. Antenor, Executive Vice President; Dr. Rosanni M. Del Mundo, Vice President for Research, Extension, Planning, and Linkages; Dr. Dolores D. Borras, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Mr. Andrew Brian B. Deguito, Vice President for Administration and Finance.

The conference gathered researchers, educators, and industry experts from across the globe, allowing CLB to further engage with the international academic community.
