CLB community unites for hazing prevention through pledge and dialogue

Students, faculty, and staff of Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas demonstrated solidarity in promoting a safe and respectful campus by participating in activities marking the 2026 National Hazing Prevention Day, organized by the Student Affairs Services, on February 13.

Framed around collective responsibility, the observance emphasized the role of every member of the academic community in preventing hazing and fostering an environment grounded in respect, accountability, and care.

Central to the event was the signing of the Anti-Hazing Commitment Board, where members of the management committee, faculty, and students publicly affirmed their stand against hazing.

Participants also took part in a Pledge of Commitment for a Hazing-Free Environment, reinforcing awareness of institutional policies and encouraging vigilance against practices that may compromise safety and well-being. To deepen students' understanding, OSAS provided a space for discussion on the risks and consequences of hazing through forums and video viewing per class.

The sessions encouraged reflection and dialogue, allowing participants to share insights and reaffirm their role in building a supportive academic community.

This initiative symbolized a shared promise to uphold positive values and strengthen a campus culture that prioritizes student welfare.
