BEED hailed as DaSikLakasan 2026 overall champion

The spirit of sportsmanship and unity came alive as the DaSikLakasan 2026, organized by the CLB Sports and Development Office, successfully concluded with the theme, “Making Champions, Building Character.”

This year’s sports fest featured a variety of events, including basketball, volleyball, esports, chess, badminton, table tennis, and running events, alongside the non-sports competition, Latin Ballroom Formation Competition, among others.

Adding glamour and excitement to the celebration, the spotlight shone brightly during the Mr. and Ms. DaSikLakasan 2026 pageant, where Raul Jr. Pedres and Alliah Bianca Buquiz emerged as the titleholders.

Meanwhile, Elijah Arce and Thrixie Moron secured the 1st Runner-Up title, while John Cedrick Balita and Alexandra Veraine Lontoc were named 2nd Runner-Up.

Each contestant captivated the audience through their confidence, talent, and charisma, making the event one of the highlights of this year’s festivities.

Capping off the celebration, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) was declared the DaSikLakasan 2026 Overall Champion, earning the highest distinction for their outstanding performance across various events.

The Bachelor of Physical Education claimed the First Runner-Up title, while the BSBA Major in Marketing Management placed as Second Runner-Up.

Other participating programs that contributed to the success of the event included BSBA Major in Financial Management, BSBA Major in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education.

Derived from the Tagalog words dasig (to move), siklab (to ignite), and palakasan (sports), DaSikLakasan symbolizes the movement and ignition of the fire of sports within the CLB community.

This year's celebration once again stood as a showcase of strength, teamwork, excellence, and unity among CLBians.
