August 28-30 2024 - , A three-day pre-planning event for the upcoming 20th Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) and Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) in Batis Aramin Resort, Lucban Quezon. CLIMB adviser, Mr. Jericho Alay joined as the representative for this event.
Region IV-A CALABARZON created guidelines for LHEPC and for the participants to follow as the host for this upcoming event. The upcoming event has two categories: group and individual categories. In group category: the magazine, newsletter, literary folio and tabloid included revised guidelines with different mechanics per competitions. While, in individual category: the photojournalism and broadcasting has been modified compared to prior years. On the other hand, competition guidelines on news, column/opinion, development and communication, editorial, feature, sports writing, cartooning and etc. stay the same. These guidelines were the same as discussed in LHEPC and need to be followed in the RHEPC event.
The host of the event, Region IV-A also laid and planned for the possible resource speakers and judges in the coming 20th LHEPC and RHEPC which included the best of the best in their fields.
