The teaching profession has always been a key drive in producing citizens of worth and importance and as such this was commemorated in the 3-day activity. In line with the celebration of World Teacher’s Day at the Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas, the College of Education department celebrated its CEDUC Week on October 5-7, 2022.

With the theme drawn from the National Teacher’s Month Celebration: “Gurong Pilipino, Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino” (Filipino teacher, Honored by the Nation), CLB held activities that promote camaraderie, socialization and teamwork. This was also an important event to honor and highlight the importance and value of all teachers to the society with their commitment to servitude by continuously producing globally competitive citizens that will be vital in nation building.

Several competitions were held to further show how CEDUC students excel in academics like the research and spoken poetry competition. Teamwork was at the center of the activities as several fun games (Palaro ng Lahi) were conducted. The event was also a showcase of talent and artistry of students as students compete to show their best dance moves in a Tiktok challenge competition. Truly, this goes to show how CEDUC students can both excel in academics and extra-curriculars. Here’s to more great years ahead for the program.
