Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas Together with Three Other Schools Inks Landmark Collaboration

October 11, 2024 - A landmark and historic collaboration was inked by Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas and three other academic institutions that aimed at improving its research and extension program. A memorandum of understanding was signed by CLB together with Quezon City University, Polangui Community College and Initao College. The research partnership MoU entitled "Research and Extension Competencies of Faculty Members and Administrative Employees in Selected Local Colleges and Universities in the Philippines: Determining Our Way Forward is a strong way forward for the college in its aim to be at the forefront of research. The tie-up among the four institutions will pave the way for stronger research and extension capabilities across each one of them.

Present in the signing of the MOU are the following: Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, President of Quezon City University; Dr. Rosalindo B. Barquez, College Administrator of Polangui Community College; Dr. Divina Gracia C. Divino, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension Services, Initao College and Dr. Mary Ann Antenor, OIC - College Administrator of CLB who represented on behalf of Dr. Lorna L. Gappi, College Administrator. Also in attendance are the different college and university officials plus selected faculty members of each school. This marked the beginning of a strong collaboration amongst the 4 institutions.
