CLB INKS RENEWAL OF COMMITMENT WITH SEVERAL BARANGAYS

June 18, 2024 - In a joint activity of the CLB Extension Services and Institutional Linkages, the college once more strengthened its ties with its adopted barangay and communities at the CLB Audio-Visual Room last June 18, 2024. As part of the institution’s drive to provide service to the community, CLB inked agreements with 4 barangays in the city of Batangas. Dr. Rosanni M. Del Mundo, Vice President for Planning, Research, Extension and Linkages provided and Mr. Andrew Brian Deguito, Vice President for Administration and Finance provided an opening and inspirational message to set the tone for the renewal of commitment between the parties. The event’s statement of purpose was provided by Ms. Maria Melinda A. Barre, Coordinator of Institutional Linkages so as everyone will be in sync with the drive and objective of such agreement and ties.

The signing of MOA ensued with each representative from the 4 chosen barangays signifying their commitment towards the cause via a series of responses. Barangay 19 was represented by Hon. Roderick G. Magsino (Chairman) while Chairman Hon. Jessie O. Fetalvero represented Barangay 20. The two other barangays – Sta. Clara and Cuta were duly represented by their respective chairmen, Hon. Derick B. Arago and Hon. Ramil L. Caseda. All parties involved renewed their commitment towards building a better community through different efforts that include medical missions, literacy, business and others. The activity ensures that the college continues to provide the best quality of external service to the community at large. Closing the event was Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mary Ann E. Antenor who reassured everyone that this drive will continue for the betterment of everyone involved.
