Student Executive Council Empowers Organization Officers Through Team Building Event

Student Executive Council (SEC) launched the much-anticipated Team Building event for all organization officers, held at the CLB vicinity on April 6-7. Spearheaded by the SEC officers, the event carried the theme "Building Tomorrow's Leaders: In the Spirit of Unity and Achievement."

The first segment of the event delved into the significance and essence of leadership within the student body, featuring esteemed resource speaker Mr. Nelbert Magbanua. He eloquently encapsulated the essence of leadership, emphasizing that a leader possesses a keen sense of direction and can articulate the path forward for their team or organization. This entails not only understanding the current landscape but also envisioning the desired future state and devising a plan to bridge the gap between the two. Furthermore, Mr. Magbanua highlighted the multifaceted role of a leader, who must serve as a mentor, coach, and role model, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to their team members. Effective communication, mentorship, and recognition were emphasized as pivotal tools in cultivating a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence.

As organization leaders of the esteemed institution, the participants pledged to uphold the core tenets of leadership - authenticity, integrity, and accountability. They affirmed their commitment to demonstrating unwavering dedication and resilience in the face of challenges. By immersing themselves in their work and embodying the values they espouse, the student leaders of CLB aim to earn the respect and trust of their followers, thereby fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
