On November 14, 2024, 655 students and 71 staff members participated in CLB’s 4th Quarter Earthquake Drill. Under the leadership of Mr. Gail Magalang, participants practiced the “duck, cover, and hold” technique and evacuated to the Batangas City Oval Tracks in just 9 minutes and 29 seconds, marking a significant improvement in response time.
The drill involved various response teams, ensuring coordination and accountability. Mr. Magalang praised the community’s performance, emphasizing, “Mas mabilis tayong nakarating kumpara nung nakaraan, walang casualties, all safe.”
This successful drill reflects CLB’s dedication to disaster preparedness and highlights the importance of unity and readiness in ensuring everyone’s safety.
